Karen Michaels, the founder of VIP Health Holidays has worked in the travel business for over 20 years, primarily as a medical conference organizer around the world and has been arranging health holidays for skin sufferers and people with arthritis and rheumatism for the past 18 years, giving her a broad and deep knowledge of the market. Specializing in trips to the Dead Sea in both Israel and Jordan, she has also investigated other areas for skin sufferers, including the Blue Lagoon in Iceland and Smdarky in Slovakia.

Karen is also a qualified masseur and reflexologist, working in the northwest London area.
